Prayer for Depression
Heavenly Father, I come to You today on behalf of those who are battling depression, seeking Your divine healing and deliverance. You are the God who binds up the brokenhearted and sets the captives free, as promised in Isaiah 61. I lift up every person feeling overwhelmed by darkness, sadness, or despair, and ask for Your light to penetrate the shadows in their hearts. Lord, replace the spirit of heaviness with a garment of praise. Renew their minds and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Comfort them in their struggles and remind them that You are near, even in their lowest moments. Surround them with Your love and strengthen them to take each day, one step at a time. Lift their burdens and breathe hope into their souls. Connect them with the right people to support them and encourage them with Your promises, empowering them to walk in confidence knowing that they are deeply loved by You. We trust in Your healing power and Your endless mercy. Restore joy where it has been lost, and may their lives reflect Your glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
