Prayer for Addictions
Heavenly Father, Today, I come before You with a heart that longs for healing, freedom, and peace. I acknowledge the struggles and chains of addiction that have gripped my life, and I lay them at Your feet, trusting in Your mighty power to set me free. Lord, I ask for Your strength to overcome the battles I cannot face alone. Fill me with Your courage to take steps toward transformation, even when it feels impossible. Help me to see myself through Your eyes—as someone deeply loved, valued, and capable of change through Your grace. Grant me the wisdom to recognize the triggers and temptations around me, and replace my desires for harmful things with a hunger and thirst for righteousness. Surround me with a community of support and accountability, and provide me with the resources I need to heal and grow. Father, I pray for renewal of my mind, body, and soul. Break the chains of addiction and release me into the freedom that comes through Christ. Pour out Your mercy and remind me that Your grace is sufficient, even when I stumble. Thank You for walking with me through every step of this journey. May I lean on Your Word and Your promises, trusting that with You, all things are possible. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
